Driftwood and Clay is a totally rad, interactive retail shop that sells art made in house as well as amazing local artwork from 58 local artists and makers, imports from around the world, and we sell CACTUS, succulents and other house plants in our greenhouse. With the most unique classroom and event space in Canon City, our greenhouses are a space for local artists to teach their craft, including but not limited to stained glass classes, pottery classes, printmaking, bookbinding, and so much more.

We are the home of the DIG! Driftwood Interactive Greenhouse. We always have a collective art project going on that you are welcome to participate in at no cost! Meet the Ladies

Beki Javernick

Beki is a longtime Cañon City resident, ceramic artist, and former farmer of 15 years who brings a deep appreciation for community, creativity, and the natural world to everything she builds. Through Driftwood & Clay and The DIG — Driftwood Interactive Greenhouse — she has created a welcoming space where art, nature, and people come together. Beki believes in accessible creative outlets, repurposing and caring for the earth, and she is passionate about creating opportunities for artists and community members to learn, share skills, and make things together
